Yo' this girl literally just said that the monsters can live with her. It is something like out of an anime. She legit just got her own Digimon partner for free from out of the streets. I was legit screaming and crying hysterically. Well look at her, now she has her own Digimon partner. Even though she doesn't have a Digivice... 😂 😂 😂 😂

If only Meicrackmon received the same love in her episode... one lucky human would have gotten a hot Digigirlfriend, but instead she got shooed away, sure her personality was twisted... but imagine the possibilities.

I am pretty sure she and Fukatsu could have patch things up if she had been more open to listen.

It would have been hilarious that they had managed to patch things up and we occasionally saw her in "hologram ghost" mode just wandering through the dorm. Maybe sometimes playing with Gammamon until the new digimon of the week appears

I was laughing anytime she kept poping up through the episode. ESPECIALLY that even she got to see Gurus (and when i realized "right.... this is the first time espimon sees him").
AND HOW despite all that, she still basically say "can I join?"

THIS is what i feel has been missing from many of the previous episodes. Some of the "Digimon-of-the-week" finding a "tamer / partner" at the end that helpsthem coexist with humans.

I hope gulusgammamon mystery and his relation with the black variants to be explained soon...

Not only did we get to see an old digi-character of the OG Digimon "Togasamageckomon (Shogangeckomon)" but also the return of Black Growlmon but also a brief glimpse of Garglemon as well.
I thought this week may get Jellymon's mega but sad to say we have to wait. Speaking of waiting! Hope get more puzzles around Gulusgammaon real soon cause this taking too long with side fillers and not getting into more depth in the main story line.

I am actually fine with the "filler / slice of life" angle the show uses

Me too that also makes it the 4th time GulusGammamon came out. Also this might conform that BlackAgumon, BlackGargomon, and BlackGrowmon are the only ones in (The Digitron Councle) and the fact that all three showed up can not be a coincidence. FYI The Digitron Councle is my new group name for the black Digimon that show up when GulusGammamon comes out.

Gulusgammamon is creepy, but not as creepy as Gammamon’s face is right before he Digivolves into him.

Gammamon's face before his evolution to Gulus is pure nightmare fuel.

I knew it, there was no way we were going to get Jellymon's mega this week considering the monster of the week was TonosamaGekomon, so I was right when I said last week that we're getting at least 2 interlude episodes before we get her mega.

If anything, today's episode had a really good fight and also lots of spice because Gulus showed up again, this time he said he wanted to Sync with Hiro tho... perhaps to unlock his mega?

If that's the case, then that might explain why dark Digimons appear when Gulus shows up... I'm guessing they're waiting for something, and that something might be this sync Gulus is seeking.

Also, next week MetalSeadramon? Now that will be a great opponent and a blast from the past if its true, but I'm not sure if pouring water from orifices fits him, so perhaps it might be another Digimon... either way, it's a water centric episode so Jellymon might hopefully get her mega.

Well the water is coming out of people's faces so certainly not MetalSeadramon. King Whamon maybe? Although I guess this feels more like something magic related so Ancient Mermamon?

It was a bit weak episode, because the former appearances of Gulus was brutal (remember how Gulus almost with ease killed Sealsdramon, Archnemon and Oboromon?).
Well, Hiro stood up and defend Tonosama Gekomon and Gekomon from Gulus.
Gulus clearly wants to sync with Hiro to unlock his perfect and ultimate form.

I am not sure about Metal Seadramon. It would be nice to have him, another Dark Master alongside Piemon.
It could be Ancient Mermaimon, King Whamon, Neptunemon or that evil twisted version of Marine Angemon.

From what's been hinted at so far for Gulusgammamon, im guessing that his mega form (not siriusmon, something evil) would have been the big bad over in the digital world if this went like most Digimon series and had the kids go over to there instead of having monster of the week over on earth. however Hiro's dad tinkered with its data somehow and was able to change the evil possibly mega into gammamon. Whether that was his original rookie form or not we've yet to see. my only real evidence about any of this is at one point early on a Digimon said something about a dark conqueror in response to a gammamon evo and what pixiemon (or whatever its japanese name is) acting absolutely terrified about gammamon after seeing his past.

I doubt that evil mega form of Gulus would be main villain, because that wouldn't make sense.
Someone who sent those three black digimon clearly wants that Gulus reach his mega form.
Remember that Hokuto somehow cured Gammamon and suppressed Gulus' power in him, so it could be possible that main villain wants to use Gulus' mega form for his evil doing.

I meant more like in another timeline whatever evil mega gulus turns into would have been a major bad guy and Espimon probably would have been hiro's partner, but then Hokuto intervened, so we have the current story.

There are many possibilities, mainly because we still don't know how many episodes Ghost Game is going to have and major plot (Gulus, Hokuto) is almost hidden from us.
I would like to think that Gulus and his forms was used by someone with great power, like Lucemon or Barbamon.

Or this time there could be an evil human.

That would be really interesting, because in Digimon we only had one evil human and that was Kurata from Savers.

For some reason Ihad to laugh at how Meru (Kiyoshiro's worker) kept following them through the whole episode and how at the end she essentially pulled a "I don't know what's going on.... but can I join in?"

That was a bit dumb, because the main trio tries so hard to keep people away from digimon.
And, yet, some people have, at least for me, have more potential to become tamers (Kotarou, Riku, Yuuto, Kayono, Emma, Aoi and Mika) but we got Meru-san.

Yes, it was really stupid move, mostly because we won't see Meru-san probably ever again.
Just like Kayono from episode 30 or that idol group from Publimon's episode or Emma or Yuuto who clearly know a bit about digimon. They could be new tamers, Kotarou and Ruli's friends, too, but that probably won't happen.
And, also, Espimon is getting dumber and dumber...

And after all this time, someone else has an official Digimon partner. So not only are we getting more consistent progression, we're getting a few classic staples now. It took a while, but it happened.

Sure Meru doesn't have digivice (and lives faraway enough it would be a miracle we see her and the geckodigimon at least as a cameo), but it was nice finally someone else got a partner

i'd argue that all of the humans that are willingly with a digimon are official partners, its just that digivices in this world are scarcer and most of the partnerships don't last. its not like savers where there was an organization managing who gets a digivice and digimon, nor is it like tamers where digignomes tended to just randomly show up and give kids d-arcs. if anything, its closer to the original adventure universe...

What does "sync" mean? Does that mean Gulusgammamon needs Hiro's help to evolve even further? Gulusgammamon can't digivolve on his own or what? If Hiro actually had agreed, then we would have seen Regulusmon in this episode huh?

Also those black variants look like they're Gulus's underling or something. Ughhh, it's just so annoying how the plot just keeps going and it doesn't seem to have solved any misteries but adding more and more things. Like c'mon, what's Gulus's backstory after all, and who tf sends all the Digimon to the human world? What is their point of doing that? It's already 59 episodes!!
